Second-Hand & Recycled Board

While looking through information about different online game formats, I ended up reading about games that seem to move much faster than usual. During that search I eventually came across

and kept reading for a few minutes. One thing I noticed was that these games appear to focus on very short rounds and quick outcomes. That caught my attention because the pace seems quite different from games where rounds take longer to finish. I started wondering whether people enjoy that format because it keeps things moving, or if it can feel a bit rushed after a while. Do you generally prefer faster rounds, or do you like having more time to think between decisions? 🤔

I think it depends a lot on mood. Sometimes quick games are appealing because you do not have to wait long to see the outcome of a round. That can make short gaming sessions feel more engaging. On the other hand, some players prefer slower formats because they enjoy having extra time to consider their choices. Turbo-style games seem designed for people who like a faster rhythm. I can understand why both approaches have their fans. 🙂
